1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Voiced ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and District Voice LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Voiced is a school district communications platform that helps K-12 communications professionals draft, organize, and manage communications across multiple channels. The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with content generation.

3. Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Voiced uses AI language models, including Anthropic's Claude, to generate draft communications content. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that: • AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires revision. • All AI-generated content must be reviewed and approved by a human before being sent or published. You are solely responsible for any content you send or publish. • AI-generated content does not represent the views of District Voice LLC. • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. • Your inputs and event data may be sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic) to generate content. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You may not share your account with others or create accounts for individuals other than yourself.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Voiced only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: • Use the Service to generate or distribute spam, misinformation, or harmful content. • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service. • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws. • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization. • Use the Service to generate content that discriminates against individuals based on protected characteristics.

6. Subscription and Payment

Voiced offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription at $49 per month. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including AI-assisted drafts that you edit and approve. You grant District Voice LLC a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your communications content.

9. Data Retention

Upon cancellation of your account, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for data export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems. You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@district-voice.com.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated content is provided as a drafting aid only and does not constitute legal, professional, or editorial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, District Voice LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Michigan.
